Came here on a Sunday around 5pm because I wanted some dumplings so bad. When I lived in Miami, there was this spot near Wynwood and they had the best BAO Buns and dumplings. The food was pretty good, could use a little more seasoning. Super large portions though, my bf and I could have shared our entrees. The dumplings were good, but I’ve had better. Service was great. Wasn’t crowded at all… only a few other guests.

Ordered takeout and was excellent all around. Dishes were well prepared, seasoned nicely, and properly portioned. Really enjoyed the use of spices and fresh ingredients. We shared the Spicy Chongqing Chicken, Hunan Beef, Spicy Shredded Pork in Garlic Sauce, and the Beef Lo Mein. Definitely expect a change of flavors and preparation from typical Americanized menus. Staff was very friendly and service was quick. Free validated parking in the 12th St parking deck. Can’t wait to come back to try more from the menu and Chef specials when back in town.

Was surprised how delicious and authentic this place was! The spices were really good and I appreciated their portion sizes. The spicy crispy pork trotters and fried pork intestines were AMAZING! I also liked how they had small portion of pre rolled Peking duck so we could have more variety

Definitely a quality authentic Chinese in midtown Atlanta. However, I will have to give it another try since there are 2 dishes that we order is a bit off… Crispy pork belly suppose to be chunk or strip. But they use slice…which it’s dry, greasy, and no meat texture. however the seasoning is good. Another one is crispy calamari. The batter is more to the hard side and calamari is over cooked. Flavor is just ok… not the same as other typical Chinese restaurant. Besides these two…. Everything else is good!! Will definitely go back.

I had a fantastic experience at Urban Hai Chinese restaurant in Atlanta! The food was delicious with generous portions, and their lunch special offers great value. The service was top-notch, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The restaurant itself is beautifully maintained and spotless. Highly recommend!

Not too far off from Hai in Decatur, this place packs amazing flavor in all the dishes. The duck soup was exceptionally well and had a great heartiness to it. The wontons were perfectly spicy and had a good filling to wrap ratio. The grandma noodles were bouncy and the chili oil clinged onto the noodles very well. The Peking duck was crispy and was nicely roasted. Our server was very nice and all the food came out really fast. A must try place if your ever craving exceptional Chinese food.

Best Chinese restaurant in downtown ATL! Like small plates and duck rolls. They are in smaller portions so we can order more dishes. Lamb can be more tender. The coat is too thick for crispy mushrooms, I can't taste the mushrooms in it at all. Everything else we order is fairly 👍

This place is amazing!!! Great service, delicious and big portions. I was really happy with my dish - fish and cabbage soup. My friends got the orange chicken, noodles and other meat dishes. Spring rolls were perfect. Scallion pancake, delectable. Cocktails were great. Price was very reasonable considering you will likely have leftovers. Finally the dessert was PLEASANTLY great. I got the fried mochi and it was extremely good! As a foodie I deeply enjoyed this place. Felt very satisfied and excited to come again🤩
